What is 1st Thursdaze?

1st Thursdaze events were monthly parties/ benefits for and by The Austin Daze. Once a month on the first Thursday we had a party at Ruta Maya. Every event featured great music. It wasn’t always new music( some bands have came back again and again), but it was Austin music and more importantly south austin favorites. The party only began at South congress, but culminated (climaxed) at Ruta Maya with the Austin Daze!

The bands who played benefitted from the funds at the door. Everyone was happy.

So, First Thursday happenned on SoCo and then a little later 1st Thursdaze happened at Ruta Maya with Austin Daze. Hence the name, 1st Thursdaze.

Everyone was welcome and encouraged to attend.
